
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will conduct an aquatic invasive species (AIS) watercraft inspection training course for the public on April 26, 2025, in Cody, Wyoming. The session, aimed at preventing the spread of invasive species like zebra and quagga mussels, will teach participants how to inspect watercraft for use in Wyoming waters. The training covers AIS biology, impacts, transport vectors, and distribution, featuring classroom instruction, a question-and-answer session, and a hands-on inspection exercise.
The free course will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Game and Fish Cody Regional Office, located at 2 Tilden Trail. Seating is limited to 20 participants, and registration is required.
