Sticker shock at the gas pumps is making its way to our part of the country now. In our weekly check of gasoline prices, AAA Auto Club shows prices increased by 3¢ nationwide this week. The Auto Club reports the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular across the 50 states this week is now $4.59.
Meanwhile, the average in Wyoming according to AAA has increased 4¢ at $4.31 per gallon, with the lowest price again found in Laramie at $3.82 per gallon. At the same time, the average price for a gallon of gasoline at 11 stations surveyed in Jackson Hole has increased 17¢ to $4.73 per gallon.
Prices in the area range from $4.49 per gallon to $5.18. In Teton County, Idaho, AAA reports the average price for a gallon of regular is now $4.74, while the statewide average in Idaho has increased to $4.66 per gallon.
