The Wyoming Legislature concluded its 37-day 2025 General Session on March 6th, after beginning on January 14th at the State Capitol in Cheyenne. During the session, lawmakers introduced 556 bills and resolutions. A total of 178 bills passed both the House and Senate. Out of 209 bills introduced in the Senate, 99 received approval from both chambers, while the House introduced 252 bills, with 79 gaining full legislative support. Committee-sponsored bills saw a 47 percent passage rate, compared to 27 percent for individually sponsored bills. Legislation that cleared both houses is either signed into law or awaits action from Governor Mark Gordon. Full details of all bills and amendments are available on the Wyoming Legislature’s website.
Looking ahead, lawmakers will shift to interim committee work starting in late April, following a Management Council meeting on April 8th to assign topics. The Sixty-Eighth Legislature will reconvene for the 2026 Budget Session on February 9th. The public is invited to engage in the interim process through the Legislature’s website, which offers live video streams, meeting agendas, committee rosters, schedules, and minutes, along with a free email subscription for updates.
