The weekend blizzard continues to cause problems for conducting business in Cheyenne. Consequently, the Wyoming Legislature will again not convene today, and the Legislative Service Office will be closed.
Other Cheyenne government offices and businesses remain closed along with many schools. The storm that hit the area from Saturday afternoon until midnight Sunday dumped 31 inches of snow on Wyoming’s capitol city.
Drifts were reported as high as five feet tall, and power was lost for several hours in several of the impacted areas. Road crews continue to work on reopening streets and highways throughout southeastern Wyoming.
