The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is currently recruiting new volunteer instructors to enrich the state’s hunter education program. This initiative aims to equip the next generation of hunters with knowledge about safety, ethics, and conservation, ensuring they are well-prepared for responsible hunting.
According to Katie Simpson, the Game and Fish hunter education coordinator, the success of the Wyoming hunter education program relies heavily on volunteer instructors. “They are living examples of how every hunter should demonstrate safe, ethical and responsible behavior to themselves, other hunters, landowners, and the natural resources they use,” Simpson stated.
