The Lone Star Fire in Yellowstone National Park increased by 59 acres now to a total of 821 acres. The fire grew on the southwest and northeast edges, largely pushing east away from the Old Faithful area toward Grand Loop Road. At this time, the road from Old Faithful to West Thumb as well as trails in the area remain closed.
