Yellowstone National Park recorded 992,352 recreation visits in July 2024, reflecting a 2% increase compared to July 2023, which saw 969,692 visits. However, this July’s visitation was down by 8% from July 2021, when the park experienced 1,080,767 visits.
For the year so far, Yellowstone has hosted 2,626,091 recreation visits, marking a 7% increase from the same period in 2023, which had 2,462,535 visits. Despite this growth, the 2024 year-to-date visits are still 2% lower than the numbers recorded by July 2021, when 2,668,765 visitors had entered the park.
