Yellowstone National Park is reporting it hosted recreational 781,853 visits in June: a 3.6 percent decrease from last June. It is also a decrease from June 2016 which remains the busiest month on record in Yellowstone. So far this year, the park has hosted 1,358,629 visits, down 1.7 percent from the same period last year. Still, year-to-date visitation in 2019 – 1,358,626 -is 4.6 percent higher than four years ago in 2015. Total visitation including those entering the park for non-recreational reasons is 1,864,537 year to datewith slightly more than a quarter million of those visitors arriving through the south entrance.As yet, no report is available for June in Grand Teton National Park.
