Yellowstone National Park saw a minor decrease in visitation last month over the same month one year ago. According to the National Park Service Visitor Use Statistics Office, the park hosted 936,062 visits in July 2019 which is down about a half a percent from last year. So far in 2019, the agency reports Yellowstone has hosted 2,294,690 visits: down 1.19 percent from the same period last year. Still, the visitation figure shows 2019 to be the fourth highest year on record for visitation to the park.
