With most of Yellowstone National Park closed to the public for the month between summer and winter seasons, visitation to the park was minimal. Still, recreational visits to the park increased during November by 12.8% and total visits including non-recreational activity – including those driving 191 between West Yellowstone and Bozeman, Montana – were up 2%. Altogether, 76,313 people were counted entering the park. Year-to-date, 5,134,823 people have visited the mother park which represents a 2 ½ % decline from last year. November statistics for Grand Teton National Park visitation were not yet available.
