Though the park is now closed over the coronavirus pandemic, the February visitation statistics are out for Yellowstone National Park, showing a significant increase in recreational visitation during the month. According to the National Park Service Visitor Use Statistics Office, 41,712 people recreated in the park for a 31 ¾ percent increase over February 2019. A slight increase in non-recreational visits pushed the overall figure up 12%. Year-to-date, nearly 95-thousand people have visited Yellowstone.
