With the FDA approval of, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendation of an additional booster COVID shot for immunocompromised and older citizens, Teton County Health Department will host a vaccination clinic by appointment, to accommodate those interested in receiving the additional COVID-19 vaccine on next Thursday from 9:00 to 11:45 am.
However, the clinic will otherwise be closed from through April 11th. The vaccine clinic is located at the Teton County Health Department on East Pearl Avenue. Albertson’s Pharmacy is also offering COVID-19 booster doses for those eligible, or interested persons may also check with their preferred provider.
To make an appointment for Thursday’s clinic, residents can visit hipaa.jotform.com/TCHD/covidvax or call the Call Center at 732-8628. Individuals, parents, and guardians should consult their health care provider or family physician for additional guidance or questions they have regarding any of the COVID-19 vaccines.
