Fred Brog honored by Northwest Public Power Association

Congratulations to Fred Brog, an exceptional individual with an impressive 35-year tenure on the Lower Valley Energy Board of Directors, for being honored with the esteemed John M. George Public Service Award from the Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA). This prestigious recognition is a testament to Fred’s outstanding dedication and remarkable contributions to the public power sector.

Unwavering commitment

Throughout his career, Fred has demonstrated unwavering commitment and enthusiasm for public power at the local, regional, and national levels. His remarkable 35-year service with Lower Valley Energy has seen him hold various positions on the board, including the role of Chairman. Fred has also represented his cooperative on the Wyoming statewide level for over 5 years, and previously served on the Idaho statewide board for more than 20 years. Furthermore, Fred’s expertise and leadership have been recognized through his election to two national electric cooperative financing boards. Hence, Fred Brog’s deep-rooted dedication to public power is truly commendable, reflecting his unwavering support for the goals and objectives of the industry. 

Congratulations once again to Fred Brog on receiving the John M. George Public Service Award. This well-deserved honor reflects his outstanding commitment to public power and serves as a testament to his significant achievements throughout his illustrious career.
