The COVID pandemic continues to have negative impacts on the number of people flying in and out of Jackson Hole. The November numbers reported this week to the airport board indicate an 18% decline in both enplanements and deplanements during the month of November compared with November 2019, contributing to the sag by about 40% in the air traffic through Jackson Hole Airport so far this year. Altogether, 10,967 people arrived by air into the valley last month while 11,264 caught flights to one of the four destinations served during the month. As the air service in and out of Jackson Hole ramps up for the ski season, four major carriers will provide service between the valley and 13 destinations nationwide. Those carriers include Alaska Airlines, American, Delta, and United.
