U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming is set to welcome 38 new Americans during a naturalization ceremony Thursday at Yellowstone National Park.
Magistrate Judge Stephanie A. Hambrick will administer the Oath of Allegiance.
The 38 citizenship candidates originate from 22 countries including:
- Australia
- Belarus
- Cameroon
- Canada
- China
- Germany
- Ghana
- Honduras
- India
- Italy
- Mexico
- Moldova
- New Zealand
- Peru
- Philippines
- Russia
- South Korea
- Thailand
- Turkey
- Ukraine
- United Kingdom
- Vietnam
The new citizens are residents of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana communities surrounding Yellowstone National Park.
A Partnership For New Citizens
The USCIS, in collaboration with the National Park Service, celebrates the dedication and commitment shown by these new citizens. A partnership since 2006, USCIS and NPS aim to deepen the connection between new Americans and the National parks.
Date and Time: Thursday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m.
Location: Arch Park, Gardiner, Montana, within Yellowstone National Park.
