
Bridger-Teton National Forest reports firefighters have made great progress keeping the Holmes Cave Fire on the Blackrock Ranger District within its footprint. The Holmes Cave Fire is located within the Teton Wilderness north of Togwotee Pass and is in a timbered island where the fire started a week ago Wednesday. Seven firefighters aided by a local helicopter remain on the fire helping to keep the spot fires in check. Currently, the fire involves two acres.
