Renovated Teton Raptor Center Barn: A Hub for Conservation

The Teton Raptor Center has officially unveiled the beautifully renovated Moseley/Hardeman Barn, which will serve as their venue for year-round conservation programming. This historic barn holds significant cultural value, having been owned by aviator Major C.C. Moseley and constructed by Wesley Bircher between 1940 – 1942. Over the years, it became an icon of Wilson.

The renovated barn now plays host to a range of facilities to support the center’s conservation efforts. This includes a cutting-edge rehabilitation clinic, enabling the care of injured, ill, and orphaned raptors. Additionally, a flight barn has been constructed to aid in the recovery process, allowing birds to exercise and build stamina before their release back into the wild. The barn also provides a home for the center’s avian ambassadors.
