The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club has dropped the cross-country ski leg of the Rendezvous River Sports Karen Oatey Pole Pedal Paddle. Warm temperatures have ruined the nordic course making it unfit for use. The PPP event is still taking place Saturday, April 10th.
JHSC worked closely with club-partners Shooting Star and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to explore possible alternate Nordic course options. Due to a dwindling snowpack and mounting logistical challenges, we are unable to provide a safe alternative.
JHSC is excited to announce we are extending the running leg of the PPP to include a full 5k route. Course information and maps are being updated and will be posted to jhskiclub.org/polepedalpaddle as they become available. Check back often.
