Broncs Lose in Basketball, Win in Speech

Jackson Hole Broncs took it on the chin in basketball this weekend as the Star Valley Braves rolled over them here on the Broncs home court.  The Lady Broncs fell to a 47 to 29 defeat followed by a 61 to 43 defeat for the Boys.  The Broncs next travel to Limon next weekend hoping for better luck against the Eagles.  Meanwhile, the Jackson Hole Bronc’s speech team remains the most winning team in the state’s 3A competitions with yet another win over the weekend in Worland.  The team bested  all of the 15 3A teams competing – earning 68 team sweepstakes points well ahead of the second place team which amassed 26 points.  The team travels to Evanston this upcoming weekend and hosts an invitational meet in Jackson  on February 8th and 9th.
