Bicycle Paths Begin Seasonal Openings

bike path

It is time to haul out the bicycles and get them tuned up for the season.  Friends of Pathways points out that already, most of the town and county pathways have been plowed and swept by the Parks and Recreation staff. Community Brooms are also installed at many intersections of the pathways and roads for continuous sweeping. In Grand Teton National Park, the Grand Teton Road, from Taggart Trailhead to Signal Mountain Lodge, has been plowed and is open to non-motorized use until May first, the Elk Refuge Pathway opens on May 1, and trails around town and on the Forest will open as they dry out. Friends of Pathways also reminds cyclists that wildlife closures on Crystal Butte are in effect until April 30.
