Gasoline prices are on their way up again in this part of the country – fed in large part by a sharp increase over the past month in wholesale prices. Amerine Woodyard of the US Energy Information Administration says the national price for a gallon of unleaded regular increased to an average of $3.67 as of yesterday. In Wyoming, the average price this week is $3.499 per gallon. Likewise, prices in Jackson Hole are rising again this week in keeping with the national trends. According to GasPrice Watch.com, gasoline prices in Jackson averaged $3.54 Monday morning. AAA Auto Club will make its predictions for coming holiday travel, but they are suggesting that this year’s prices may be slightly lower nationwide than last Memorial Day.
