Tin Cup Challenge Raises Record Match Fund

The Community Foundation of Teton Valley has announced the highest match since the Tin Cup Challenge was established six years ago.  Foundation Executive Director Kim Trotter says the percentage of the match is 54% this year – up a full percent from last year.  Trotter says with the support of 89 Community Challengers – 20 of whom were new this year – the Community Foundation of Teton Valley raised $482,500 for the match fund.  Trotter says over the past six years, the Community Foundation of Teton Valley has raised over $2.26 million in match funds and through the Challenge.  Overall fundraising during the 6th Annual Tin Cup Challenge exceeded $1.1 million for the third consecutive year in the history of the event.  A total of 833 donors contributed to their favorite charities through the Tin Cup Challenge.  Altogether, nearly $6 million has been raised for the nonprofits in Teton Valley since it was begun in 2007.
