A Mississippi man died in the Snake River Friday after the fishing boat he was in struck a bridge abutment and overturned. According to the Teton County Sheriff’s office, 69-year-old George Erwin Roulhac of Greenville, Mississippi was with two companions at the time of the accident. All three made it to shore initially, but Roulhac apparently slipped back into the river. His body was recovered near the KOA Campground and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. An exact cause for Roulhac falling back into the water is currently under investigation.
