This weekend, we get to reset our clocks again as the U.S. returns to mountain standard time. In 2005, Congress passed the Energy Policy Act shifting the start of daylight savings to the second Sunday in March and the end to the first Sunday in November – ostensibly shifting dark hours to fall earlier AFTER the celebration of Halloween. So how do we know if we go forward or backward? Well, the bottom line is, when you go to bed Saturday night, you’ll get an extra hour to sleep by turning your clock back.
