Teton County Commission Chairwoman Natalia D. Macker has announced her intention to run for re-election to the County Commission.
Macker has served on the Commission since 2015, advocating and working for issues such as health-in-all-policies, affordable housing, early childhood education, community-based prevention, and expanding transit service.
Additionally, Macker continues to build upon her legacy of advocating for women’s economic, political and social equality with a mission of “making the Equality State equal” for all people. Current efforts include the Period Project, Courage to Run, and the Wyoming Women’s Action Network. Governor Gordon appointed her to the Wyoming Council for Women and in 2019, the Wyoming County Commissioners Association awarded Commissioner Macker “Commissioner of the Year”, the first Wyoming woman ever named to receive that honor.
Macker is running again because she says she sees pressing work that remains, and she is committed to the working families of Teton County.
