Winter Storm Brings Accidents To Jackson

Jackson Police Friday responded an accident involving an elementary school aged pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. The child was transported to the hospital, but thankfully does not appear to be seriously injured. Lieutenant Cole Nethercott adds that there were six other incidences of vehicle collisions, slide offs and motorist assists just during the early hours of this weekend’s storm.  He says with the winter snow storm moving through the area, motorists need to take extra precautions when driving. Most importantly, he says, they need to slow down.
