Transition Details

Teton County would like to remind the public that it will transition to a new Geographic Information System (GIS) platform at the end of this month. Users of the County’s GIS platform can utilize the switchover, which took place on the County’s website on Friday, June 30.

Enhanced Service and Support

The updated platform replaces the longstanding Greenwood Mapping system, carrying forward its legacy of reliable service and functionality. Teton County Information Technology Manager Keith Murley emphasized their commitment to delivering the most accurate and timely geographic data to residents during this major transition.

User Feedback and Future Plans of GIS

The Teton County IT team welcomes feedback and is available to answer questions via email at [email protected]. Teton County also plans to release a survey this fall to gather feedback from the public and examine areas that may need modifying. Murley stated that their team is ready and eager to assist the public with any questions or issues that may arise, aiming to make the transition as easy as possible for all GIS users. For more information and to view the new Geographic Information system, view the Teton County Website.
