The Jackson/Teton County Housing Authority Board appointed a new member today: Annie Kent Droppert. She will serve a five-year term.
Ms. Droppert is a partner at Geittmann, Larson, and Swift LLP and owns an Attainable Home through the Jackson Teton County Housing Authority. She is also the head coach of the Jackson Hole Lacrosse Club’s U15 Girls’ team.
Ms. Droppert’s interest in affordable housing began when she worked as a Legal Extern for the Town of Jackson in 2013 and has only grown as she’s watched friends leave the valley because of the lack of affordable housing.
Prior to moving to Jackson, Ms. Droppert earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School.
“We are excited to welcome Annie to the board. Her legal expertise and the fact that she owns a home in one of our programs made her an excellent candidate for this board seat,” stated Matt Faupel, Housing Authority Board chair.
Ms. Droppert replaces Danielle Goldyn-Haigh, another affordable homeowner, whose board term expired in February 2019. The Jackson/Teton County Housing Authority Board meets the first Wednesday of each month at 2:00pm.
