Two substantial avalanches occurred Friday in the Teton Range. A snowmobiler was caught and fully buried in Horseshoe Bowl on Teton Pass. A 28-year-old woman was on a snow machine at the base of the Great White Hump, north of Mt. Glory when she was fully buried by the avalanche shortly before 4:00 pm. Another member of her party had remotely triggered two avalanches, and one of them came down on the woman and buried her and her snow machine. Luckily, companion rescue was successful. A very large slab also released naturally on the east face of Buck Mountain at an elevation of 11,500 feet. In steep, wind loaded avalanche prone terrain at the upper elevations
