Fall River Electric’s member/consumers have re-elected three board members during an annual meeting conducted virtually for the first-time ever in the Co-op’s 82-year history. Despite not holding their traditional in-person annual event, a record setting number of 2,427 ballots, representing 20% of its members were cast this year. Incumbents Georg Behrens in District 3, East Victor and Jay Hanson from District 2 in West Victor were reseated on the board. Jeff Keay of District 8 in northern Island Park was also re-elected. Those terms run for three years. Members also voted to retain the system of electing board members by the current plurality system rather than more than 50% of the eligible voters.
