Governor Mark Gordon’s State of the State Address earlier this week highlighted areas where Wyoming is leading and can lead the country through innovation.
Gordon’s speech to the 67th Legislature pointed to the current financial position of the state when he noted that Federal government largess and energy markets have given Wyoming a financial windfall. Gordon said that they have an opportunity to make the Cowboy State even stronger for generations to come.
The Governor’s supplemental budget proposal outlined an approach to save money, deal with inflation, and make strategic investments.
The Governor called for more federal support for the energy industry in Wyoming and talked about the importance of education.
