The Teton County, Idaho Sheriff’s Department is advising residents of Victor that there have been sightings of a mountain lion in the outskirts of Victor the last few days.
The most recent sighting was east of downtown Victor near Aspen Street and Deer Drive. So far, the have been no incidents reported involving the cat. However, the sheriff’s department advises residents to keep themselves and their pets safe by reducing time spent outdoors if at all possible.
Also, those living outside of town may want to keep their livestock locked up for their safety as well. With the winter weather pushing deer into the town’s perimeter, predators naturally have been following them.
