Town of Jackson planning commissioners will listen to a proposal that would mandate bicycle parking for development projects in the town.
The Teton County – Jackson Pathways department is making a presentation on Wednesday evening that lays out potential requirements for bike racks at new commercial or multi-family developments.
The staff is requesting feedback from the Planning Commission at this informational workshop to help determine the appropriate level of bicycle parking requirements.
They will also discuss best practices of similar communities and the potential of a fee in lieu of bike parking allowance.
The workshop item is part of the regular Planning Commission meeting Wednesday at 530 pm at the Town Hall on Pearl.
