The Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan is entering Phase Two as it moves toward adoption. The Comprehensive Plan is intended to guide growth and development, and addresses: local workforce housing; climate sustainability and energy conservation; all modes of transportation; the provision of community services; a diverse and balanced economy; the stewardship of wildlife, natural resources and scenery; and more. Phase 1 concluded with a community-wide survey and open house, which took place on October 8th. As part of Phase 2 in the update of the Comprehensive Plan continues, Jackson/Teton County is requesting more feedback from the public through a community survey. The survey will allow participants to share their thoughts and ideas moving forward, and will allow for ideas for new projects, strategies, policies and/or personal actions that could help the community achieve the goals of the Comprehensive Plan. More about the plan can be found at jacksontetonplan.com.
