Today is Election Day in Wyoming. In Teton County, voters may cast their ballots at any of the three designated vote centers from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm regardless of where they live in the county. They include the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center, the Teton County Library, or the Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Alta Branch Library and the Weed & Pest Building will not be available for voting due to insufficient floor space to accommodate social distancing. Absentee ballots must be received by 7:00 pm in order to count. Wyoming is a “no excuse absentee voting” state which allows the voter to cast an absentee ballot for any reason whatsoever. It is advised that you be registered prior to election day so that your name will appear on the poll list. Anyone unable to register early may register at the polls. However, registering at the polls can cause delays and lines there.
