They recounted the ballots in Teton Valley, and the results of the school board election remained unchanged. The recount on Thursday morning focused on Zone 3 of the school board election held this month. The recount was requested by candidate Jeannette Boner, who missed the win by only four votes. She received 253 votes to opponent Ray Hinchcliff’s 257. However, the election did have some discrepancies, including an incomplete results-report on election night and a handful of voters having received an incorrect ballot. When the recount was completed, the total was identical to the official election results, which were canvassed by the Teton Board of County Commissioners on November 12th.
