The Jackson Town Planning Commission discussed more changes to the local Land Development Regulations last week including one that would allow planning commissioners and members of Jackson’s Design Review Committee to live outside Teton County.
Currently members of those two boards are not only required to reside in Teton County, Wyoming, but within the Jackson city limits.
The idea was being floated after some problems have occurred in achieving a legal quorum for a meeting.
Commissioners debated different options to solve the problem from reducing or increasing the number of members on the boards to allowing existing board members to finish their terms after moving from town.
Ultimately, the town council will decide whether to change the existing code.
