Tyler Sinclair has been finally appointed as Town Manager by the Jackson Town Council in their meeting on Monday .
Sinclair has a Master’s degree in urban and rural planning and has been working as a Planner in Jackson and Teton County for most of his career.
He helped create the joint Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan, and has overseen Community Development, the Town’s Building Department, and Long-Range Planning efforts. Sinclair has been an Interim Town Manager and has collaborated on various projects, showing his experience and expertise.
Mayor Hailey Morton Levinson has confidence in Sinclair’s skills and qualities to be Jackson’s Town Manager.
She said, “We are excited to have Tyler as the Town Manager for Jackson. His experience in our community coupled with his already strong leadership in the organization make him the right fit for the job. I look forward to the work we will do together for our community.”
Town Councilman Jonathan Schechter said. “During his decades of work for the Town of Jackson, Tyler has earned the respect and trust of employees, elected officials, and residents alike.
Schechter added, “Everyone who has worked with Tyler know him to be bright and talented, kind and fair to all, the embodiment of integrity, and someone who always puts the town’s interests first. As Jackson faces unprecedented challenges we’re so so fortunate to have him at the helm.”
Sinclair says he is especially grateful for the trust placed in him and is confident in making progress towards the town’s goals.
