Teton County School District 401 students are voting in round three of the selection of a new mascot. The procedure began with 16 suggested names and has now been pared down to just six. Surviving to the final rounds are Grizzlies, Raptors, Teton (or We are Teton), Timberwolves, Trappers and Yeti. The deadline for this round of voting is midnight, Thursday. Last year, Teton County School District 401 board members voted to remove the old nickname as it was considered a racial slur and offensive to Native Americans.
