The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is asking for public feedback on proposed 2025 hunting regulations, covering antelope, deer, elk, moose, and other species across Chapters 2 to 20. Hunters and residents have until 5 p.m. on April 2nd to submit comments online or by mail to the department’s Casper office at 3030 Energy Lane, Casper, WY 82604. This input will help shape hunting seasons and rules for next year in Wyoming.
To discuss the proposals, Game and Fish scheduled public meetings in the Jackson region. One will take place on March 19th at 5 p.m. at the Thayne Community Center, followed by another on March 20th at 5 p.m. at the Jackson Regional Office. These sessions allow attendees to learn about the changes, talk with staff, and ask questions. The department advises checking for updates, as meeting times or dates could shift.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will review all feedback and finalize the regulations during their meeting on April 22nd and 23rd in Casper. Additionally, if House Bill 3 passes, Game and Fish wardens would gain authority to enforce new penalties tied to specific violations, expanding their role in wildlife management. This comment period and the meetings offer a chance for the public to influence hunting policies across the state.
