Yellowstone National Park saw a significant increase in visitor numbers in October 2024, welcoming 346,025 recreation visits, a 16% rise compared to October 2023, which saw 299,127 visits. This October’s numbers were also up 9% from October 2021, which had 316,662 visits.
Year-to-date, Yellowstone has hosted 4,692,810 visitors in 2024, marking a 6% increase over the same period in 2023 (4,446,509 visits). However, this is a slight decrease from 2021, when the park recorded 4,789,349 visits by the end of October.
