Teton County and the Town of Jackson has released a Request for Proposals for a qualified, multi-disciplinary planning consultant firm to develop a neighborhood plan for the Northern South Park area of Teton County. That contains the land where The Gill Family announced that they had recorded a restrictive covenant on 74 acres that guarantees 65% of the lots in the High School Road Housing proposal will be for Teton County workers. An additional 26 acres would be developed for a suburban neighborhood. Interested firms and consultants responding to the RFP should have significant expertise in neighborhood planning, affordable housing, and multi-model transportation. The Plan is to provide a holistic approach to the future development on a total of 225 acres of undeveloped land that will complement and enhance existing residential development in Teton County and the Town of Jackson. The successful team should have considerable experience in community engagement/participation, visioning, planning, design, affordable housing, transportation, and market analysis to develop the neighborhood plan.
